The Play
Creating theatre in the midst of COVID-19
Like You was written by Tyler Milicic during his freshman year of college at Cleveland State University, which coincided with the COVID-19 lockdown. In a time where theatre wasn't able to happen, Tyler decided to write and produce a play all online.
With Noah Underhill and Marissa Vega as story consultants Tyler collaborated with many other Olde Towne Hall Theatre's Youth Program alumni and participants to create Like You. The story was personal and reflected his experience with his youth theatre group (his found family).

The Musical
A story about friendship, love, and
found families.
Evan is a teenager who is moving into a new foster home with his sister Maria, years after their parents die. Their new home is run by Mr. Davis and includes many kids including the stoner Rocky, the lovable Lola, the mean girls Laurey and Phoebe, and the outsider Elle. Evan also is introduced to other memorable characters such as Lola's partner Addy, Rockys BFF Todd, Laurey and Phoebe's love interest Jack, and the other new girl Thea.

Through everyday struggles and fights each family member must come to terms with their past to support their future, and learn what it truly means to be family.
The Concept Album
Two College Students
create a Musical.
For four years Tyler Milicic and Charles Ligus have been collaborating on Like You: A New Musical. Four years later, they began work on the musical's Original Concept Album. Featuring 22 songs, 19 musicians, and 17 vocalists it was a huge undertaking. Add on the fact that the music in the musical ranges from traditional musical theatre, to latin jazz, pop rock, opera, and everything in between, it became clear that they needed help.

Launching their GoFundMe campaign the creators were able to gather support from dozens of supporters who all wanted to see the musical reach it's full potential. They're currently working on their second fundrasing goal. If you want to learn more or even support the GoFundMe yourself click here.
